Yoga Classes

Yoga classes: Our classes focus on merging your mind, body, and spirit and will teach you how they work together to foster healing. Classes focus on mental health and functional fitness to improve longevity and quality of life. You will learn postures (ansana), but you will also learn about the other seven parts of yoga that are equally as important. When you are working with all eight parts, you increase your chances of creating lasting change for yourself. All classes are trauma informed which means they are designed to be sensitive to people who could be triggered.

 

We currently offer these classes:

 

Asana class: This class will be a mixture of chair and mat class with an emphasis on improving mental health and functional fitness. Classes are one hour long. Cost is 16.00 per class. Packages available.

 

Meditation class: This class will focus on a variety of meditation practices to expand your repertoire. You will learn some traditional yoga meditations as well as some unique to Nature and Body Based Recovery. Classes are 30 minutes. Cost is 8.00 per class. Packages available.

 

Yoga Nidra: Nidra means sleep in Sandskrit. Yoga nidra is a deeply relaxing practice that will improve sleep and your relaxation response. Classes are 30 minutes. Cost is 8.00 per class. Packages available.

 

Workshops: We are in the process of developing workshops that will cover a range of topics. Prices will vary depending on the length of the workshop.
